The most active actors in the GWP CACENA programs and actions are the NGOs. The role of NGOs fro our regional water partnership is described in the attached paper by Sestager Aknazarov — member of RTAC and Vice-Chairman of the CAREC Board.

Mostly the NGOs are very active at the local level, but there are a number of strong NGOs dealing with water and environmental issues at the regional level. GWP CACENA already established working partnership with the following NGOs:
